About Us
Villaverde Ventures was born from a deeply personal journey. A year after suddenly losing a pivotal person in our lives, Nan’s mother, we became new parents. Navigating grief and
the transition into parenthood at the same time showed us how vital support, nourishment,
and care are during this tender season.
Chef Nan brings over a decade of experience in fine dining, blending Asian flavors, classic
French techniques, and comforting American flare. Paired with Alyson’s background in
caregiving and customer experience, Villaverde Ventures was created to offer the kind of postpartum nourishment we wish we had: fresh, healing meals made with intention and heritage.
Villaverde Ventures is our way of honoring Nan’s mom, a woman whose love was felt
most in the way she cared for others. It’s a tribute to her legacy and to all new mothers
stepping into the beautiful, overwhelming, and sacred journey of parenthood. Through
every meal, we hope to offer the same comfort, nourishment, and care she gave so freely.
